Celebrate the launch of the four-day Game City Showcase at the official Kick Off Party at Mongoose vs Cobra in Midtown on Monday, January 30, 2017.
Stop in at Midtown’s small-batch beer and spirit purveyor for a celebration of the Super Bowl, cocktails, and more.
Artist Mina Saber’s art installation IV will be on display, while Mongoose vs Cobra unveils its exclusive Super Bowl week cocktail list and representatives of Balvenie Scotch will be on hand giving courtesy tasting of one of the world’s highest quality scotch distilleries.
A travelling interactive selfie wall called, I am Houston by Shelbi Nicole, the official Super Bowl 51 Helmet Artist, will be a key focal point. Guests can step in front of the wall, surrounding themselves with words of empowerment, encouragement, creativity, and collaboration to signify how Houston’s greatest assets is its people. The mural will be unveiling on Monday at the Mongoose and Cobra then travel to different locations each night.
There will be a private area for VIPs, Game Day Houston committee members, celebrity and athlete pop-ins.
A DJ will be spinning tunes and food items from Mongoose vs Cobra’s artisan menu and Houston Dairy Maids will be available.
The event ends officially at 9pm but will carry on until the bar closes at 2am.
